Risk factors of clinically relevant pancreatic fistula after pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors – Single-center retrospective study
#4053
Introduction: Clinically relevant pancreatic fistula (CR-POPF) significantly worsens the postoperative course after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD).
Aim(s): The study aimed to identify the risk factors for developing CR-POPF after PD in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs).
Materials and methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of 62 consecutive patients who underwent PD for PNET in our institution between 2014 and 2022 and identified the factors significantly increasing the risk of CR-POPF. CR-POPF was defined according to the guidelines of the International Study Group on Pancreatic Surgery (ISGPS).
