Role of 68GA-DOTATOC pet/ct in therapeutic decision-making for well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumours
#4370
Introduction: 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT is a highly sensitive and specific test for assessing gastroenteropancreatic and pulmonary neuroendocrine tumours (NET) expressing somatostatin receptors.
Aim(s): To evaluate the role of 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT in therapeutic decision-making for patients with NET.
Materials and methods: This retrospective study evaluated patients with pathology-confirmed NET who underwent 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT between December 2021 and August 2024 at two tertiary care centres. A total of 48 patients were identified; 11 were excluded due to the absence of a confirmed diagnosis. Electronic medical records were reviewed to collect clinicopathological and imaging data.
