Secondary debulking of renal neuroendocrine tumor

Introduction: We presented a case of 54-year-old woman with anamnesis of left nefrectomy due to tumor of left kidney in august 2006. Histology showed well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor of kidney (renal carcinoid tumor). MAI (mitotic activity index) were less then 1mf/10HPF. Imunohostechemistry examination showed positive of cytokeratins, chromogranin A, synaptofyzin. One metastatic lymph node was captured. Final stage of tumor was T1N1Mx. Patient was regularly followed in oncological ambulance.
Aim(s): After 13 years, patient was referred to our department with suspection of recurrence of disease. She underwent 68-Ga-DOTA-TOC examination with finding of increased accumulation in left adrenal gland area and in segment 5/6 of the liver. Another lesion was present in bone marrow of right femur.
Materials and methods: Clinical case report with description of treatment.
