Sensitivity of 68Ga-DOTATATE PET in detecting primary tumor and nodal metastases in surgically resected lung carcinoids
#3228
Introduction: 68Ga-DOTATATE positron emission tomography (PET) is increasingly employed in staging of lung carcinoids prior to surgery.
Aim(s): To determine the sensitivity of 68Ga-DOTATATE PET in detecting primary tumor and nodal metastases before surgical resection.
Materials and methods: We collected clinical, pathological and DOTATATE PET data for all lung carcinoid patients who underwent surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester between January 2017 and June 2020.
