Somatostatin receptor imaging with difference positive rate of mice

#3685

Introduction: Majority of neuroendocrine neoplasms express SSTR2, and the pathological results of a single lesion cannot accurately reflect the expression of SSTR2 in other lesions because of heterogeneity.

Aim(s): The imaging with 68Ga-DOTA-TATE (A), 68Ga-DOTA-JR11 (B) and Al18F-NOTA-JR11 (C) was performed to analyse the difference and the correlation between parameters of image and pathology.

Materials and methods: Tumor bearing mouse with difference positive rate of SSTR2 were established with HEK293-SSTR2 and HEK293 cells, and the imaging was performed separately at the same mice with three tracers at 20, 60 and 120min. The parameters of imaging were obtained, including SUVmax, SUVmean, standard deviation of SUVmean and coefficient of variation (CoV). Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was performed after imaging to obtain positive rate of SSTR2 and receptor expressing tumor volume (RETV). The statistics analysis was performed to analyse the difference of three imaging and the correlation between the relative parameters of imaging and IHC.
