The application of 68Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT after endoscopic submucosal dissection for patients with rectal NET
#3986
Introduction: Some rectal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are accidentally detected by colonoscopy screening. Due to the lack of cognition of endoscopic feature of rectal NET, endoscopic tumor resection has always done without metastasis screening.
Aim(s): The purpose of our study was to evaluate the application value of 68Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for patients with rectal NET.
Materials and methods: We have retrospectively analyzed 89 patients who underwent 68Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT after ESD of rectal NET. The final diagnosis was confirmed by surgery and imaging follow-up. The number of lymph nodes detected by PET/CT and operation was compared by paired t test.
