The Correlation between 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT Results and Tumor Proliferation in Patients with Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (GEP-NENs)
#2048
Introduction: GEP-NENs are heterogeneous neoplasms characterized by overexpression of somatostatin receptors (SSTRs). PET/CT with 68Ga-DOTATATE has shown excellent results for imaging of NENs and has been used more and more widely.
Aim(s): Analyze the correlation between 68Ga-DOTATATE results and biological characters of GEP-NENs. Explore the cut-off value of SUVmax to differentiate NET and NEC.
Materials and methods: 126 non-functional GEP-NENs cases were enrolled. All the patients had pathologically proven primary and/or metastasis. Images were acquired 1h post injection of 100–200 MBq 68Ga-DOTATATE. The highest SUVmax of lesions generated from each patient was used in analysis.
