The risk factors of lymphovascular invasion in rectal neuroendocrine tumors

#3360

Introduction: Rectal neuroendocrine tumors (rNETs) have the malignant potential of lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis.

Aim(s): This study explored the relationship between endoscopic morphological characteristics and lymphovascular invasion (IVI) of rNETs, and provide evidence for the selection of clinical treatment of rNETs.

Materials and methods: Retrospective audit of 225 patients diagnosed with rectal NETs by endoscopic resection between January 2011 and October 2021 at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University. Endoscopic manifestations and pathological data were collected to analyse the risk factors of IVI in rNETs.
