The value of the Patient Reported Outcomes Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (PRO-CTCAE) in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET) treated with 177Lutetium-DOTATATE (177Lu)

#3777

Introduction: The correlation between clinical benefit and toxicity is an unmet need in daily clinical practice. PRO-CTCAE is a questionnaire that allows subjective and detailed symptom reporting directly from patients. This prospective, multicentre study will apply PRO-CTCAE in a cohort of consecutive adult patients with metastatic NET on treatment with 177Lu.

Aim(s): The primary objective of this study is to check the feasibility and utility of PRO-CTCAE in clinical practice in patients with NET. Secondary objectives include the evolution of symptoms during 177Lu treatment, correlation with efficacy, and comparison of toxicity collection from the PRO-CTCAE v1.0 in patients with the CTCAE v5.0 in clinicians.

Materials and methods: Candidate patients complete a NET-adapted version of PRO-CTCAE with 36 items at different time points in the Lu177 treatment. In addition, a free text field is available.
