Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms – Data from the Czech Neuroendocrine Tumor Registry 2008 – 2022

Introduction: Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms are very rare, their incidence is only 3% of all NENs a 5% of thymic tumors. On ENETS 2022 Sarah Fodil—Cherif et alt. presented data of 74 patients with thymic NETs from retrospective French study (1988-2020) and their analysis.
Aim(s): Czech Neuroendocrine Registry collects data of patients with neuroendocrine NENs of all origins treated in specialized centres since 2008. Till the end of October 2022, we had data of 3739 patients. We were interested how many patients with thymic neuroendocrine tumor we can find in our patient registry, what are the characteristics of individual patients, tumor grade and their treatment and survival.
Materials and methods: The register contains detailed data about patients and their therapy. Analyses are processed according to the current rules used for epidemiological registers.
