Transarterial embolisation for liver metastasis in patients with well-differentiated grade 3 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

#4052

Introduction: The role of local treatments, including liver-directed transarterial embolization (TAE), in patients (pts) with liver metastasis of advanced grade 3 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (G3 GEP-NET) is still less understood.

Aim(s): To evaluate the treatment response of TAE in liver metastasis of advanced G3 GEP-NET.

Materials and methods: Pts with advanced G3 GEP-NET who underwent TAE and had available post-TAE CT scans were included. RECIST 1.1 criteria were used to evaluate the treatment response of liver metastases.
