Treatments, clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis in thymic neuroendocrine tumors (TNETs): With especial reference to Temozolomide (TMZ)-based chemotherapy

#4043

Introduction: Thymic neuroendocrine tumors (TNETs) are rare but aggressive malignant neoplasms that exhibit significant heterogeneity. However, there is a paucity of comprehensive clinical studies conducted to investigate the prognosis of TNETs.

Aim(s): Our study aimed to assess the impact of clinicopathological factors and treatment strategies, especially TMZ-based chemotherapy on overall survival (OS).

Materials and methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients diagnosed with TNETs at China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing between 2016 and 2022.
