Well-differentiated grade 3 neuroendocrine tumors: Characteristics, treatments and outcomes from a population-based study

#3383

Introduction: Well-differentiated grade 3 neuroendocrine tumors (G3 NETs) are a new clinically distinct grouping, however their characteristics, prognosis and treatment outcomes remain unclear.

Aim(s): To describe a population-based cohort of patients with metastatic gastrointestinal G3 NETs.

Materials and methods: The BC Cancer provincial database was queried for G3 NETs diagnosed 2004-2021. Identified cases underwent expert pathology review to assess tumor differentiation and chart review to characterize demographics, treatments received and outcomes.
