Wouter W. de Herder is Professor of Endocrine Oncology at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Since 2005, he is the Chairman of a multidisciplinary group for endocrine oncology in the Erasmus MC (Tumorwerkgroep Endocriene Tumoren) and from 2010-2021, he was the Head of the ENETS Center of Excellence for Neuroendocrine Tumors in Rotterdam. From 2006-2008, he served as Chairman and from 2008-2010 as Vice-Chairman of ENETS. From 2004-2019, he was co-organizer of the annual ENETS educational conferences. From 2011-2019, he served as a member and from 2015-2019 he was Chairman / Speaker of the ENETS Advisory Board. From 2004-2019, he served as a member of the NANETS Advisory Board. Since 2021, he is the leader of the EU (European Union) ERN EURACAN group 4 (NET).
