Prof. Guido Rindi

ENETS Chair from 2008 until 2010

Guido Rindi obtained his MD in 1982, his specialisation in human pathology from the University of Pavia in 1986, and his PhD from the University of London in 1991. Since 2009, he is Chair of Pathology at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS-Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome, Italy, and Head of Services of Pathology of Policlinico A. Gemelli. Professor Rindi is Co-founder of the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS). His research focuses on all aspects of neuroendocrine pathology and related tumor modelling. He has co-authored 318 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 80 chapters in edited books, including manuals for the World Health Organization (WHO) and The American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC); Hirsch (H)-index: 77 (Scopus) and 85 (Google Scholar).
