Detlef K. Bartsch is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Visceral-, Thoracic- and Vascular Surgery at the Philipps-University Marburg, Germany.
He has 25 years of experience in the whole field of endocrine and pancreatic surgery, especially in GEP-NETs and MEN1. He is the surgical partner of the ENETS Center of Excellence at the Marburg University hospital. He was President of the German Society of Endocrine Surgeons from 2014-2017. He has published over 300 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is member of the ENETS Executive Committee.
