#3311 Clinical management of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) in the time of COVID-19

Introduction: The current SARS-CoV-2 virus epidemic is an exceptional global health situation, very serious for already fragile patients such as cancer patients. These patients are at much higher risk (4 to5 times) of severe respiratory complications, which develop very quickly, especially since they will have received surgery or chemotherapy in the preceding weeks, putting their vital prognosis at risk, in addition to the risk of cancer «double jeopardy».

#3268 Management and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors during the global COVID-19 pandemic - Experience of medical oncology department of hospital 1st November

Introduction: The current recommendations for management of neuroendocrine tumor diseases are still evolving, due to the limited experience on this issue. As the new coronavirus can be transmitted through breath droplets, by contact, there is no consensus of how this fact may affect the investigation and treatment of neuroendocrine tumor diseases.
