#3211 Microscopic resection margin status does not predict long-term survival in small bowel neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Small bowel neuroendocrine tumors (SBNETs) are increasing in incidence and are the most common small bowel malignancy. The characteristic nodal mass, which may extend high into the mesentery, can make achieving microscopically negative resection margins difficult without resecting excessive lengths of small bowel.
