#4426 A case of giant neuroendocrine tumour of unknown primary site

Introduction: The liver is a common site for metastatic neuroendocrine tumours. NETs primary to the liver are rare, and it is difficult to determine whether a neuroendocrine tumour in the liver is primary or metastatic in patients in whom no tumour has been found elsewhere.

#4298 Clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis of 581 cases of hepatic neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Hepatic neuroendocrine tumours (PHNETs) are a rare type of liver tumour that originate from neuroendocrine cells in the liver. Compared to other types of liver tumours such as hepatocellular carcinoma, research on PHNETs is relatively scarce.
