#4481 Predicting peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) response through the landscape of the immune microenvironment in neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) often have poor prognosis upon metastasis. Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is a novel treatment leveraging targeted cytotoxicity of radionuclides to efficiently address primary and metastatic tumours of NETs.

#4412 25-years of experience with somatostatin receptor-based therapy in patients with small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours are well-differentiated and express type 2 somatostatin receptors (SSTR2). Treatment with somatostatin analogues (SSA) (octreotide or lanreotide) has been a cornerstone in controlling tumour growth for 25 years. Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT), utilising radiolabelled SSA, was introduced in our institution in May 2009 as primarily 2nd line treatment after progression on SSA. The standard PRRT regimen includes 4 cycles of PRRT (7.4 GBq 177Lu-DOTATATE every eight weeks). Re-treatment protocols remain debated.

#4356 Assessment of medium- and long-term side effects of Lu-177 treatment in patients with neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: PRRT with Lu-177 has advanced the treatment of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), adding a valuable tool against them. This study aims to assess its long-term impact, especially on the most radio-exposed organs—kidneys and bone marrow—and the reproducibility of in vivo clinical trial results (PFS).
