Introduction: Chromogranin A (CgA) is a non-specific marker of neuroendocrine tumors (NET) and its significantly increased level is an unfavorable prognostic factor while the decrease in CgA during biotherapy with somatostatin analogs (SSA) correlates with the increase in profession free survival (PFS).

Introduction: Several Phase-II trials have been designed to evaluate Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) and in particular Pazopanib in Neuroendocrine Neoplasia (NEN) but it’s efficacy is not yet demonstrated in a randomized Phase III trial.

#2990 Pitfalls in Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Imaging
Introduction: Physiological pancreatico-duodenal DOTA-Exendin-4 uptake in the Brunner’s glands of the proximal duodenum occurs in Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) imaging and is a known potential pitfall.

Introduction: The previously reported SANET-ep trial (NCT02588170) demonstrated surufatinib significantly improves progression-free survival (PFS) in patients (pts) with advanced extrapancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (epNETs) compared to placebo; median PFS (9.2 vs. 3.8 months; HR = 0.334, 95% CI 0.223 to 0.499, p<0.0001).

Introduction: Somatostatin analogues (SSA), octreotide LAR (Oct) and lanreotide autogel (Lan), significantly prolong progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with well-differentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET). However, comparative data are not available and randomized trials comparing both SSAs are unlikely to be conducted.
