Introduction: Tumour dose may be an important predictor of clinical response, but estimation of a clinically relevant tumour-absorbed dose without high risk of toxicity is challenging.

Keywords: dosimetry, 177Lu-DOTATATE,
Introduction: PRRT with lutetium-177 labelled somatostatin receptor (SSTR) agonists ([177Lu]Lu-DOTATATE or [177Lu]Lu-DOTATOC (177Lu-TOC) has limited response rate and durability. The SSTR antagonist [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-JR11 (177Lu-JR11) offers potentially increased tumour doses with better efficacy.

Introduction: Radioligand therapy with lutetium-177 labelled somatostatin receptor (SSTR) agonists (177Lu-DOTATATE or 177Lu-DOTATOC) showed limited response rate and durability. The novel SSTR antagonist DOTA-LM3 labelled with terbium-161, which co-emits conversion and Auger electrons in addition to β- particles, potentially increasing tumour doses and offering a more effective treatment for micro metastases.

Introduction: Metastatic pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (mPPGLs) are rare neuroendocrine tumours with a heterogenous phenotype and a variable treatment response. The SSTR antagonist [177Lu]Lu177Lu-DOTA-JR11 (177Lu-JR11) offers potentially increased tumour doses than standard radioligand therapy (RLT) with [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-TOC (177Lu-TOC).

Introduction: RTL targeted somatostatin receptors is increasingly available. Individual dosimetry performed during RLT of NET may enable to achieve better results of therapy with maintaining its safety.
