#4536 Follow-up is not justified in patients with typical lung carcinoids treated with curative intent

Introduction: Typical carcinoids (TC) are well-differentiated neuroendocrine neoplasms of the lung with generally favourable prognosis. Recurrence is rare in TC patients treated with curative intent, yet current ENETS guidelines recommend extensive follow-up, including regular and long-term imaging.
