Introduction: MCC is a rare and aggressive skin neuroendocrine tumour with high metastatic potential and mortality. Therapeutic options in metastatic/unresectable MCC are based on immunotherapy or platinum-based chemotherapy. However, a subgroup of patients (pts) has primary immunoresistance disease, so it would be important discover active upfront combinations. PANDORA trial [NCT 06086288] is an open-label, multicentre, single-arm phase II trial evaluating the activity and safety of pembrolizumab (PEM) combined with platinum-based chemotherapy as 1st line treatment in pts with metastatic, unresectable or recurrence MCC. #4593 Excellent response to Ac-225 DOTATATE therapy in a patient with small cell lung cancer
Introduction: Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is a validated treatment for patients with NETs overexpressing somatostatin receptors (SSTR). IHC analysis indicates that up to 50% of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) tumours are SSTR2 positive and thus can be targeted by SSR imaging and PRRT. Therapy with α-emitting radionuclides, such as Ac225, may offer several advantages over β-emitters by having higher energy transfer and more effective cancer cell death.

Introduction: Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) is rare and highly aggressive, and liver metastasis leads to worse outcomes for patients (pts) with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. Surufatinib (SUR) exhibited promising antitumour activity in neuroendocrine neoplasms.

Introduction: NEC is an aggressive neuroendocrine neoplasm with limited treatment options. Surufatinib (SUR), a kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFRs, FGFR-1, and CSF-1R, improves vascular normalisation and tumour microenvironment, synergising with chemo- and immunotherapy.
