#4143 Portal vein resection in pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Surgery offers the only cure in borderline resectable or locally advanced neuroendocrine neoplasms of the pancreas (pNEN). Data on incidence and postresection outcome of portal vein resection (PVR) for pNEN are scarce.

#3575 Claudin 18 immunohistochemistry for determining site of origin of metastatic neuroendocrine tumor

Introduction: Claudin 18 isoform 2 (CLDN18.2) is selectively expressed in normal and neoplastic gastric tissue and some pancreatic neoplasia. Anti-CLDN18.2 is an investigational therapy in gastric and pancreatic adenocarcinoma and a sensitive and specific immunohistochemical marker in these cancers.

#3382 Agenesis of cephalic pancreas associated with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor: A case report and review of the literature

Introduction: Agenesis of cephalic pancreas is very rare. Less than 70 cases have been reported to date. Some of these cases had an association with a tumor. The literature of agenesis of the cephalic pancreas and agenesis of the dorsal pancreas-associated pancreatic neoplasia is limited. Here we report the first case of a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor in a setting of agenesis of the cephalic pancreas.

#734 Non-Functioning Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Neoplasia as an Incidental Finding–Surgery?

Introduction: The incidence of pancreatic non-functioning neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNF-NENs) has been increasing, mainly due to small incidentalomas. Pancreatic surgery complications are still responsible for significant morbidity.
