#4652 Clinical response to somatostatin analogues in patients with DIPNECH: Findings from a new longitudinal registry

Introduction: Diffuse idiopathic pulmonary neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia (DIPNECH) often presents with symptoms of cough and dyspnoea. DIPNECH remains understudied, and response to somatostatin analogues (SSAs) has been reported in a few small series.

#4623 [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-Exendin-4 PET/CT for the localisation of insulinoma: Results of an international, dual-centre, retrospective, open-label real-world imaging study

Introduction: Benign insulinomas are the main cause of endogenous hyperinsulinemic hypoglycaemia (EHH) in adults, with surgery as the only cure. Pancreas-preserving procedures are preferred, making precise localisation crucial. Recent studies indicate that GLP-1R imaging, such as [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-exendin-4 (68Ga-Ex4) PET/CT, outperforms conventional imaging in identifying insulinomas.

#4583 Improved assessment of gene rearrangements by targeting non-coding DNA regions in patients diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Whole-genome sequencing projects documented the heterogeneity of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PanNEN), while showing that few core pathways are consistently affected in their tumorigenesis. Comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) of real-world cases is expected to recapitulate such heterogeneity for patient stratification and to inform precision therapy. While coding DNA is the focus of current CGP panels, the potential of targeting non-coding DNA (ncDNA) to improve structural variants detection has not been widely explored in this context.

#4499 Impact of early molecular tumour board inclusion on treatment outcomes in neuroendocrine neoplasms: A retrospective double-centre study

Introduction: The treatment of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) is particularly challenging due to the limited availability of standard therapies. While personalised approaches are revolutionising many areas of oncology, their progress in the field of NENs has been comparatively slower. The integration of molecular tumour boards (MTBs) into clinical practice represents a major advance in oncology, even for rare entities such as NENs.
