Are Current ENETS Guidelines for Surgery of Small (< 2cm) Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms Implemented in German Surgical Community?

Introduction: According to ENETS guidelines small(<2cm) pNEN should be operated laparoscopically with parenchyma-sparing resection without formal lymphadenectomy.

Aim(s): To evaluate how these recommendations are implemented in the German surgical community.

Materials and methods: Data from the prospective StuDoq/Pancreas registry of the German Society of General and Visceral Surgery were analysed regarding demographics,localisation of the tumor,type of surgical procedure,histology,and perioperative outcome.
