Clinical and epidemiological features of intestinal neuroendocrine neoplasms in China and SEER Database, 2001−2010
#3617
Introduction: Intestinal neuroendocrine neoplasms (I-NENs) are rare and heterogeneous, while some subtypes are highly aggressive.
Aim(s): The study was conducted to analyse the clinical and epidemiological features of I-NENs.
Materials and methods: I-NENs diagnosed during the periods 2001-2010 were identified in a nation-wide and multicenter, 10-year retrospective study in China, while cases in the US were screened from the population-based Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) registry during 2001 and 2010.
