Clinicopathologic characteristics and prognostic analysis of rectal neuroendocrine tumours: A multicentre clinical study

Introduction: The incidence of rectal neuroendocrine tumours (R-NETs) has increased significantly in recent years.
Aim(s): Our study is dedicated to discover the clinicopathologic features and prognostic factors of real-world R-NETs.
Materials and methods: A total of 498 cases of R-NETs from 2011 to 2023 of three affiliated hospitals in Harbin medical university were included in the study. 308 patients with R-NETs were analysed for survival. Kaplan Meier, log-rank test and Cox proportional were used to analyse risk factors.
