Clinicopathological observation of gastric amphicrine carcinoma

Introduction: "Amphicrine carcinoma" refers to a mixed neoplasm composed of tumor cells with both exocrine and neuroendocrine differentiation. Up to now, the understanding of this kind of neoplasms is still limited.
Aim(s): 4 cases of gastric amphicrine carcinoma were collected and detailed analysis of their pathological characteristics were provided.
Materials and methods: Retrospective retrieval was conducted in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2020. 4 cases met the diagnostic criteria. The cases had complete H﹠E sections and immunohistochemical staining, including CK, Syn, CgA, CD56, Ki-67. 4 patients were followed up by telephone.
