Colorectal NECs and MANECs: A monocenter pilot retrospective analysis
#3129
Introduction: Poorly-differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) and mixed adeno-neuroendocrine carcinomas (MANECs) are rare and aggressive neoplasms whose tumorigenesis pathways are still unknown and clinical management not universally shared.
Aim(s): We evaluated genetic alterations that might suggest pathways of carcinogenesis, neuroendocrine(NE) differentiation and possible targets for future therapies.
Materials and methods: We retrospectively reviewed clinical and pathologic data of colorectal(cr) NECs and MANECs patients(pts) treated at our Institute between 2015 and 2019.
