Diffuse idiopathic pulmonary neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia (DIPNECH): An international case series

Introduction: Diffuse Idiopathic Pulmonary Neuroendocrine Cell Hyperplasia (DIPNECH) is a rare disorder that is characterized by diffuse hyperplasia of bronchiolar and bronchial pulmonary neuroendocrine cells. The precise incidence and prevalence is unknown and the clinical course is not fully understood.

Aim(s): A multi-centre multi-national descriptive case series.

Materials and methods: Data from 200 patients from 15 centres in Ireland, USA, France, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Canada, Italy and The Netherlands was collated up to October 2023.
