Endoscopic resection of type I gastric neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN): A systematic review
#3135
Introduction: Although relatively uncommon, the incidence of type I gastric NEN has been rising over time. Since they are considered indolent neoplasms, with a low metastatic potential, endoscopic resection is the treatment of choice. However, correct endoscopic management is not well established.
Aim(s): This systematic review aimed to investigate which is the best endoscopic technique to achieve complete resection in type I gastric NEN.
Materials and methods: Medline through Pubmed and Scopus databases was conducted on August 2020 and a systematic review of the current literature was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA statement.
