Endoscopic ultrasonography and elastography in pancreatic and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors diagnostic

#3551

Introduction: Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is an examination using ultrasound and an endoscopic device, designed to image digestive tract and adjacent organs. The combination of EUS and elastography (EG) expands diagnostic and imaging capabilities.

Aim(s): The aim of our work was to determine representative image of pancreatic and gastroenteral neuroendocrine tumors (PNET and GENET) using B-mode, EG image, strain ratio (SR) and strain histogram (SH).

Materials and methods: A total of 156 patients were examined. After locating the lesion by EUS, recording was made after freezing the image in B-mode and performing size measurement. Subsequently EG, SR and SH measurement were performed.
