#3551 Endoscopic ultrasonography and elastography in pancreatic and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors diagnostic

Introduction: Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is an examination using ultrasound and an endoscopic device, designed to image digestive tract and adjacent organs. The combination of EUS and elastography (EG) expands diagnostic and imaging capabilities.

#3325 Endoscopic ultrasound elastography in diagnostics of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: An important role of the endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) was found in the diagnostics of neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract (GEP NETs). In recent years, other modalities have been developed which, in combination with the EUS, improve diagnostics and allow prediction of the tumor's biological behaviour. Such methods include elastography (EG). EG is based on demonstrating the difference in tissue stiffness between tumor and reference area.

#3324 Elastographic localization of insulinoma

Introduction: A 15-year-old healthy female, initially admitted with less serious signs of hypoglycemia. Laboratory studies showed a glucose concentration of 1.2 mmol/l and insulin 9.6 μU/ml. Complete blood count, basal metabolic profile, activity of C - reactive protein and urine drug screen, were unremarkable. Fasting test confirmed biochemical signs of insulinoma.

#1686 Shear Wave Elastography Imaging in Neuroendocrine Liver Metastases: Preliminary Data from a Single Center

Introduction: Ultrasound shear wave elastography (SWE) imaging has recently been developed as non-invasive method for quantitative assessment of liver stiffness.
