#2085 Alpha-Fetoprotein in Gastro-Entero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: A Single Centre Study

Introduction: Several attempts to determine prognostic factors in neuroendocrine setting have been made, with inconsistent results until now. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) has previously been reported as being elevated in some neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), even if the actual clinical implications of this marker in this setting are unclear.

#1686 Shear Wave Elastography Imaging in Neuroendocrine Liver Metastases: Preliminary Data from a Single Center

Introduction: Ultrasound shear wave elastography (SWE) imaging has recently been developed as non-invasive method for quantitative assessment of liver stiffness.

#1289 Reduced 25-OH-Vitamin D Levels in Patients with Chronic Autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis

Introduction: Chronic atrophic autoimmune gastritis (CAAG) is characterized by parietal cells disruption leading to hypochlorhydria and vitamin B12 malabsorption. An increased risk of osteoporosis was reported in patients with long-standing hypochlorhydria. Only few studies reported a possible association between CAAG and 25OHVitamin D (25OHvitD) deficiency.

#1288 Vitamin D Deficiency as a Risk Factor in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Report from a Series at a Single Institute

Introduction: Vitamin D deficiency (VitDdef) is hypothesized to represent a risk factor in several neoplasms. To date, vitamin D levels have not been previously evaluated in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs).

#1076 “Wait and Watch” Approach for Small Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNETs): Prognosis and Survival in 51 Consecutive Patients.

Introduction: The most appropriate management for small non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) is lacking and whether all these lesions should be routinely resected is still debatable

Abstract Submissions in 2022

Abstract submissions for 2022 will open in September 2021!

The 19th Annual ENETS Conference in 2022 will provide the principal platform for NET researchers around the world to present their latest findings. ENETS will select the best abstracts submitted in both clinical and basic science and present these in sessions within the framework of its scientific programme.

Participants of the ENETS Virtual Conference 2021 can now access the abstract booklet, e-posters and videos, the poster carousel, and more via My ENETS.
