#3751
Introduction: Gastric carcinoids type 1 (GC1) are increasingly recognized and are usually well-differentiated grade 1 neoplasms. However, rare cases of metastatic spread and adverse prognosis have been described in the literature.
Aim(s): The aim of this study was to evaluate the characteristics and the natural history of grade 2 GC1.
Materials and methods: We collected retrospectively the data of patients with GC1 and analysed the epidemiological, histological and imaging features as well as the clinical outcome of grade 2 tumors.
