Introduction: The diagnosis of small intestinal neuroendocrine tumors(SI-NETs) is often delayed due to non-specific symptoms, difficulty imaging, and lack of awareness.
Aim(s): To analyse the presentation and investigations leading to SI-NET diagnosis, using accurate hospital records.
Materials and methods: Data from 224 patients diagnosed between 1996 to 2021 by the South Wales NET service, were retrospectively collected using digital hospital records.
