Lifestyle and neuroendocrine tumor (NET) development

Introduction: There has been increasing interest in the relationship between lifestyle and NET. However, no review focusing solely on lifestyle as a risk factor for NET has previously been performed.

Aim(s): In providing an overview of the current knowledge on lifestyle in the early and late development of NETs, this study aims to provide directions for future research aiding to formulate clinical advice.

Materials and methods: The literature was systematically searched for articles on lifestyle factors and NETs available via PubMed and Embase.
