#4239 Implementation of a new, nurse-led clinic (NLC) for neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients

Introduction: There is international evidence supporting nurse-led services for people with chronic diseases in reducing hospitalisations, symptom improvement and lifestyle, and patient satisfaction. Patients with NET often have high symptoms burden and psychosocial distress in the context of indolent disease. Our centre recently implemented a (NLC) to provide complex care support for patients with NET.

#3276 Increasing compliance of an oral oncolytic through a novel clinical nurse educator model

Introduction: A patient education platform to help navigate medication coordination and symptom management leads to improved adherence and effective patient-HCP communication. Historically, cancer patients have lower rates of oral therapy adherence (~16%) versus patients receiving infusion therapy.
