Molecular imaging, molecular profiling and outcomes in patients with transformation to grade 3 neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN)

Introduction: Transformation of Grade (G) 1-2 to G3 NEN has prognostic & therapeutic implications, but its mechanisms are unclear.

Aim(s): To assess associations with biopsy proven G3 progression (G3P).

Materials and methods: Retrospective review of 68Ga-DOTATATE (GaTate) and 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT, immunohistochemistry (IHC) P53, Rb1, DAXX, ATRX, and, where available, genomic sequencing (GS) was performed of identified cases.
