Neuroendocrine tumors, experience at Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplasicas in a hospital from Peru

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are very rare cancers with indolent behavior, diagnosis is a challenge because of inespecific symptoms, treatments are in development and prognosis is variable.
Aim(s): To determine the incidence and survival of NETs.
Materials and methods: We identified 367 patients with NET of the whole body between 2010 and 2014. A retrospective review from medicals history were realized.
