Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: Experience in a Spanish Reference Center

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) derived from the hormone-producing cells in the pancreas whose actual prevalence, natural history and optimal treatment raises controversy.
Aim(s): To describe our experience in a Spanish reference center.
Materials and methods: From 2009 to 2013, 26 patients were operated on in our center (16 males and 20 non-functioning tumors). Their clinical histories were revised.
