Predictive Factors of Tumor Recurrence after Radical Surgery for Gastro-Entero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (GEP-NENs): Identification of High-Risk Subgroups

#2784

Introduction: There is no proven role for adjuvant medical therapy after curative surgery (R0) for GEP-NENs.

Aim(s): To evaluate predictive factors of tumor recurrence after radical surgery.

Materials and methods: Data from histologically confirmed G1-G2 GEP-NENs patients who underwent R0 surgery over the last 10 years were retrospectively analyzed. Site of the primary tumor, grading, staging, presence of positive lymph-nodes (N+), angio-neuro and parenchymal invasion were evaluated.
