Preliminary experience with a new institutional dedicated neuroendocrine team in a tertiary

Introduction: Due to the complexity of neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) management, a multidisciplinary approach is strongly encouraged. At our institution, tertiary care center, a NEN Team was established in January 2021.

Aim(s): To determine the impact of a NEN Team on the management of these patients (pts) in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and referral to ENETS centers of excellence (CoE) multidisciplinary tumor board (MTB).

Materials and methods: We retrospectively reviewed all newly diagnosed pts referred to our NEN Team from 01/2022 to 10/2023. We recorded pt characteristics, tumor pathological data, imaging, and the therapeutic strategies.
