Prevalence of other malignant cancers in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms

#3564

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NNE) are a heterogeneous group, arising from different anatomical locations. Studies showed a higher prevalence of other malignancies associated with NNE when compared to other types of cancer.

Aim(s): Our study aims to evaluate the prevalence of other tumors (solid or hematological) in patients with NNE.

Materials and methods: Patients discussed in Multidisciplinary Neuroendocrine Tumor board from March 2017 until August 2021 were included. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS v.27.
