Prognosis and the role of Rb expression in metastatic grade 3 neuroendocrine carcinoma (G3NEC), results from the multicenter retrospective RbNEC study

Introduction: Rb has been suggested to be a predictive/prognostic factor in G3NEC in which platinum etoposide (PE) is the first line treatment whatever primary.

Aim(s): The main objectives were to evaluate Rb expression by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and its prognostic role in patients (pts) with G3 NEC.

Materials and methods: Inclusion criteria: G3NEC whatever the primary and stage, first line treatment with PE and available tumor sample. G3NET were excluded.
