Prognostic value of expression SOX2 in neuroendocrine tumors of different localization and degree of malignancy

#3138

Introduction: Overexpression of the SOX2 gene is related to its amplification and with the multiplication of the copy number at the 3q26.3 gene locus on chromosome 3. It has been shown that the SOX2 transcription factor is a key regulator of pluripotency induction; it is involved in the reprogramming of terminally differentiated somatic cells.

Aim(s): The study the expression of Sox2 in various neuroendocrine tumors.

Materials and methods: By IHС method, we studied the expression of SOX2 in 254 neuroendocrine tumors (NET G1-3, TC, AC lung; NEC-SCC., LCC).
