Real-world clinicopathological features and outcome of elderly patients with thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms: A retrospective single-institution analysis

Introduction: Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms (TNENs)are rare and heterogeneous diseases. With the aging of society, there has been an increase in the proportion of elderly patients with TNENs,however, research on these patients is limited.
Aim(s): To understand the basic situation and diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients with TNENs.
Materials and methods: We retrospectively analysed the clinical data of 39 elderly (≥65 years) patients with TNENs who were treated at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center between 2022 and 2024.
