Targeted Next Generation Sequencing Analysis Reveals the Genetic Characteristics of Gastric Neuroendocrine Neoplasmas
#2861
Introduction: there are abundant information about the clinical therapy and pathological features of gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (gNENs) but little about its genetic characteristics.
Aim(s): To investigate single nucleotide variants(SNVs) and copy number variants(CNVs) in 483 genes of gNENs.
Materials and methods: A retrospective study was made on 13 gNENs (Type I=8, Type II=2, Type III=1, Type IV=2). Targeted Next generation sequencing (NGS) was used to detect the changes of 483 genes in gNENs. High-frequency SNVs and CNV were analyzed and comprehensive comparison was performed between these 13 gNENs and pancreas, lung, prostate neuroendocrine tumors from The Cancer Gene Census (CGC) database.
